Every local business on WordPress deserved one honest answer: is my site ready to rank on Maps?

Our story

How Local Lift SEO started

No pitch deck. Just client sites, late-night NAP checks, and the same frustration on every build.

The experience

We kept rebuilding the same local foundation

Storefronts, clinics, contractors — different industries, identical checklist. Schema. Footer NAP that matched Google. Hours that matched GBP. A map block, a contact page, then a manual audit praying nothing had drifted.

The work mattered. Hunting for it across plugins and browser tabs did not.

The problem

The tools were built for blogs, not businesses

Mainstream SEO plugins score articles beautifully. They do not score your business — name, address, phone, listing health, map pack readiness. Local features were paywalled add-ons or missing entirely.

Yoast for content. Another plugin for schema. Google Business Profile in a separate tab. Then a client calls asking why the phone number on the site does not match Google — weeks after the mismatch started.

The solution

We built what we wished existed

One main business profile as the source of truth. Schema, blocks, and NAP checks from the same data. A Local Lift Score that prioritizes fixes. Read-only GBP connect and daily scans in one dashboard — free, because local essentials are not a teaser tier.

Pro came when clients needed GBP two-way sync, multi-location, NAP Guardian email alerts, weekly local digest, citation export, and real content SEO — layered on top of local, never instead of it.

Local SEO is not a premium add-on. It is how most small businesses get found.

Who we serve

Built for businesses that live on Maps

46% of Google searches have local intent — if you are not showing up on Maps, you are invisible to half your market.

If customers find you on Google Maps, GBP, or the local map pack — this plugin is for you.

One source of truth for name, address, phone, and hours — whether you run a single shop or scale to multiple branches with Pro.

What we believe

Honest tiering. Local-first.

Most SEO plugins treat local as an upsell. We ship the full local stack free for one business — schema, read-only GBP, daily NAP scans, score, blocks, and breadcrumbs. Pro is for scale: GBP two-way sync, multi-location, NAP Guardian, weekly digest, citation export, and content SEO.

Free is complete

LocalBusiness schema, read-only GBP connect, daily NAP scans, score, blocks, breadcrumbs, and import. Not a trial. Not a teaser.

Your data stays yours

Profiles and OAuth tokens live in your WordPress database. We do not sell your business data.

Pro when you grow

GBP two-way sync, multi-location, NAP Guardian email alerts, weekly local digest, citation export, content SEO, and AI — one plugin, annual Pro license.

Common questions

About Local Lift SEO

Quick answers about the plugin, free vs Pro, and who it is built for.

What is Local Lift SEO?
Local Lift SEO is a WordPress plugin built for businesses that depend on Google Maps, Google Business Profile, and the local map pack. You enter one main business profile and the plugin outputs LocalBusiness schema, contact blocks, read-only GBP health checks, daily NAP scans, and a prioritized Local Lift Score — free on WordPress.org.
Is Local Lift SEO free?
Yes. The free tier includes complete local SEO for one main business: schema, read-only GBP connect, NAP checker with daily scans and dashboard alerts, Map Pack Readiness, breadcrumbs, blocks, Yoast/Rank Math import, and basic on-page SEO. Pro is optional for GBP two-way sync, multi-location, NAP Guardian email alerts, weekly local digest, citation export, content SEO, and AI tools.
How is Local Lift SEO different from Yoast or Rank Math?
Yoast and Rank Math are strong for editorial and ecommerce content SEO. Local Lift SEO is local-first: it scores your business (not just blog posts), connects Google Business Profile, runs NAP checks against GBP, and ships the full local stack free. You can import from Yoast or Rank Math and replace your old plugin when ready. Full comparison: https://wplocalliftseo.com/compare/
Who is Local Lift SEO for?
Storefronts, clinics, restaurants, contractors, and service-area businesses that get customers from Google Maps and the local pack. If NAP consistency, GBP listing health, and map visibility matter more than internal linking at scale, Local Lift SEO is built for you.
