Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Local Lift SEO WordPress plugin and the website at wplocalliftseo.com (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Local Lift SEO is a WordPress plugin designed to help local businesses improve search visibility through schema markup, Google Business Profile integration, NAP consistency checks, and related SEO tools. The free version is available on WordPress.org under the GPL license. Pro features require a paid annual license.

2. License

The Local Lift SEO plugin is distributed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later. You may use, modify, and redistribute the plugin in accordance with the GPL. Pro features, when purchased, are licensed for use on the number of sites specified at the time of purchase.

3. Account and eligibility

You must have a valid WordPress installation and, for GBP integration, an HTTPS-enabled site. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your WordPress admin, API keys, and OAuth connections. You must be at least 18 years old or have legal authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of your business.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code beyond what the GPL permits.
  • Use the Service to generate spam, misleading schema, or false business information.
  • Abuse third-party APIs (Google Business Profile, Google Gemini) connected through the plugin.
  • Resell or redistribute Pro features without authorization.

5. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party services including Google Business Profile, Google Gemini, and OpenStreetMap. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for changes, outages, or actions by third-party providers. Local Lift SEO is not affiliated with Google, Yoast, or Rank Math.

6. Free and Pro tiers

The free tier includes local SEO features for one main business as described on our Features and Pricing pages. Pro is billed annually and renews each year unless you cancel. We reserve the right to modify feature availability with reasonable notice.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee specific search rankings, traffic increases, or Google Business Profile outcomes. SEO results depend on many factors outside our control.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Local Lift SEO and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $50 if you use only the free tier.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Local Lift SEO from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your business data, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

10. Website content

Content on wplocalliftseo.com (text, graphics, logos) is owned by Local Lift SEO unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce marketing content without permission. Blog content may be shared with attribution and a link back to the source.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by deactivating and uninstalling the plugin. We may suspend or terminate access to Pro features for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use Pro features ceases, but GPL rights to the free plugin code remain unaffected.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated date. Material changes to paid services will be communicated via email where applicable. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where Local Lift SEO operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
